Blimey it's been ages since I was on here, didn't really help when I hadn't forgotten my logging in details and have had to start all over again! This time I'm going to try and commit my uploads. So to start the ball of again here's a piece that I created as a design for a tee Competition. "Cute Bunny Critter" Didn't get anywhere but the fun is taking part at the end of the day! ^-^

Lego Indy Concepts

Before any Lego Game projects were finalised, and who was working on what project, I had a stab at creating some scenes from the lastest Indy Jones film in Illustrator.

The Big Chill

First new piece of art to start of the new year with. Been inspired by all this snow malarky the UK has been having lately. It got up to -18c last night, blimey! Friggin Freezing! Might create a snow angel piece. See where I go from there! Hope you like!

About a couple of years ago I brought a DIY Toy2R Munny toy and customized it to a mad scientist. I think I've got it lying around somewhere back at home on one of my many bookshelves.

Yep you guessed it watched the film last night, and thought it was a genuinely lovely story. Wanted to create something to do with Honey Bee's.

A Robin and His mate

Last posting for tonight, as I'm off home. Sticking with the Retro Cartoon theme. I quite pleased how this one came out. Spent the last hour and half creating it. Might make a seasonal theme or something, but that shall have to wait until tomorrow.

Wow I'm on a roll with artwork these days, probably has I've got some freetime on my hands to update my portfolio. Today's submittion is "Beasties From Under The Bed". The kitty in the image is supposed to be of my Cat Alfie.

Seriously

Right seriously I am back to get this blog up and rolling. Wow I haven't posted anything up on here since May! May! Blimmin eck! I should really balance DevArt and Blogspot together, but I've been so busy with work and other projects, I haven't had the time. So as I have time to kill for the next couple of weeks, as the game I've been working on for the past last year "Lego Rockband" is about to be finished and sent off to be punlished for the release date. Left & Came Back Again

Okay okay I admit I haven't been looking after this website very well. Been keeping a busy and the amount of websites to my name is silly, so am whittling all my work down to a few sites, so I can keep on track and the fact I've moved house, life is peachy!

Am working on a few pieces of new artwork as we speak...well not at this very moment as I'm in work, but at home am working on a few ideas. then will scan them in and illustrate them so I can post on here at long last. Hopefully within the next couple of weeks! Whoop!

Totally Illustrator

All last week at work I had nothing to do, while everybody else was running around like headless chickens stressing out how to fix all the bugs in the game. It's all finished now and it's a brand new start to another week. But this is what I got up to that week. The 1st piece is called "The Lotus Pond" - now originally I created this drawing when I was in my last year at Uni for a storyline for a film I had, but the tutors of the time weren't convinced of the storyline. so I've dug it out after 5 years and decided to illustrate it. Image is 100% created in CS3 Illustrator, no Photoshop whatsoever. Took me in total about a day and a half to complete it. (tho technically in my mind, I can still do more to the backgound vines).

The second piece I'm adding today I created out of a whim, something to pass the time by. After searching through the net, I was inspired to create a Dandelion. So This piece is called "Fragile" as Dandelion's when they're seeding are very dainty and fragile. Hope you like.

Tiki

A couple of weeks ago I was surfing the net, as I had nothing much to do at work, a bit like today, and was looking at forms of Tiki Art, styles like Shag art and Disney's Enchanted Tiki Room Concept Art. So I fancied trying to create my own version. Here's what happened.

Fanart

Okay I'll try again, and hopefully if this should not work I'm going to through a quite hissy fit! lol! Just Kidding! I'm not like that!

Today I'm going to submit to fanart vector pieces I've created quite recently. Due to the heavy work load and the final deadline to finish the DS & Wii game I'm working on, my spare time is quite tight. So these should buy my time a little bit til I can submit some more!

The 1st one is one of those lovable Human Fat Blobs "The adipose", seen from the new series in Doctor Who. I couldn't resist in taking the plunge and creating something to do with them. I hope they make official plushies of them soon. Coz I'll defintley buy one, they're just way to cute! apparently the BBC took somebody to court due to the fact they madde they're own version and stuck them online so people could buy them. The 2nd piece of Fanart I'm submitting is taken from my fav artist's work Michel Gagne. You can see his link to his website at the bottom of this blog. I must of been a fan of his for at least 8 years already. Now the bunny his designed by his own hand, I've just simply coloured in and exaggerated a wee bit. I was bored one night before going home in the studio, and fed up of staring at some work I had been working all day long on. I just needed something else to distract myself from for a bit, and this is was I conjucted up, hope you like.

Rainbows and all that

Lately most of my artwork as contained a Rainbow theme, it's probably due to the warm climates over the last couple of weks. About time too, I thought it would never stop being cold and windy! Here's a Vector piece I created about a week ago. No Characters involved just the elements. Makes me feel all happy inside! awww!

Okay to start of this blog, I'm going to add 2 Vector Illustrations. I love to create Vectors, I never know what I'll end up creating. It's never what I planned to do in the beginning, I guess that's what makes it fun.
